Nonprofit Legal Counsel / Advisor

"The truth is permanent and everything else falls by the wayside."

Meet Pallav

  • After graduating from law school, I started my career in litigation at a private firm and litigated a wide-variety of cases (civil, criminal, administrative hearings)
  • In 2010, I made the decision to transition to in-house legal work for a nonprofit organization (after being serendipitously introduced to the space by my then girlfriend, now wife)
  • Since then I have served as General Counsel to Global Brigades as well as its sister company Eskala, an international development organization with operations in six countries across North America, Central America, West Africa and Europe
  • When I have the time, I try to take on pro bono cases for individual clients in need. It is important to me to be able to help people on a mico level and it allows me to dust off my courtroom lawyer skills
  • I knew very little about cryptocurrency and digital assets before joining the Angel Protocol team, but was immediately drawn in by the potential that the technology has to benefit the scale and scope of impact for nonprofits and social impact organizations
